OUR SERVICES

Come. Relax. Let Us Relieve Your Tension.

During THAI MASSAGE our Certified Massage Therapist (CMT) uses extension, retraction and compression to help reduce stress, and improve flexibility and range of motion.

Thai Massage is more energizing than other forms of massage.  Our CMT will move and stretch you on one of our soft, low, wide Thai Massage tables.  At some point during your session, the CMT will ask “Is it OK if I walk on your back?”

Thai Massage can reduce muscle spasms and back pain, and has been shown to be useful in treating balance problems as well as migraine symptoms.

Deep Tissue therapeutic massage targets muscle adhesions (or “knots”) and specific problem areas in the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue.

Using deliberate, slow strokes or friction across the grain of the muscle, the therapist addresses chronic tight or painful muscles, repetitive strain, postural problems, or injuries.

While it’s true that the pressure of deep tissue is generally more intense than that of a Swedish massage, it shouldn’t have to be painful to be effective. If you’re experiencing pain, let your massage therapist know right away.

This type of massage can be particularly beneficial for people with chronic pain, limited mobility, repetitive stress injuries such as tennis elbow or carpal tunnel syndrome, osteoarthritis.

Intended to prevent, as well as treat injuries, Sports Massage can improve flexibility and enhance athletic performance.  Commonly used by athletes of all abilities to prepare for, or recover from, athletic or sports events.

Sports Massage can relieve muscle pain/restricted range of motion. Can help with increased blood flow, increased range of motion, and increased flexibility.

Sports Massage is essentially Deep Tissue massage targeted to the area requested by the client.  The strokes are generally faster than Swedish massage. May also include compression, pressure point therapy, friction, and joint mobilization.

Using Biotone® massage lotion or Coconut oil, our CMT begins with broad general strokes and then transitions to specific strokes to address problem areas described by the client.

There are five basic strokes in Swedish Massage therapy: Effleurage (long smooth strokes), Petrissage (kneading, rolling, and lifting), friction (wringing or small circular movements), tapotement (percussion), and vibration (rocking and shaking movements).

Swedish massage provides full-body muscle relaxation, and it can be especially helpful when recovering from an injury.

Hot Stone Massage uses warmed stones. Our CMT places heated, smooth stones on specific points on the body and holds the warm stones while giving the massage.

The stones are basalt (a volcanic rock that retains heat well). The warmth of the stones can be relaxing and can loosen tight muscles so that the therapist can reach areas of muscle tension quickly. Most commonly used in conjunction with one of the other types of massage.

Included at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE with every one-hour (or longer) Table Massage.
